Boîte D'Allumettes Swap

I recently had the pleasure of participating in another matchbox swap---this time, with my Marie Antoinette group!

We were charged with creating a French-inspired box for our partner, and when I found this lovely Marie image in a beautiful aqua gown, I just had to include her!

She was printed on cotton fabric and stitched to the cover with a few aqua flowers and some sparkly crystals. I just love the texture the netting gives to the base of the box!

I just love the light and dark shading on the French book pages I've used on this box! I loved it so much that I've left some areas without print just so there would be more of that color :-)

Here's the AMAZING package my partner, Jody, sent to me! If you've never been to Jody's blog, now's the time. She has an awesome giveaway this month!

Love this wrapping paper!!!

My GORGEOUS box!

Love the handle...

and wrapping!

This mini sewing machine is my FAVORITE!!! It's maybe 2 inches across and has lovely gold embossing. ***SIGH***

I must say that I feel positively spoiled!!! All the beautiful trinkets and papers and trims and charms! Thanks so much, Jody!!!

Xoxo,
