HIYA!!  How's it goin', eh??

Things are winding down 'round here...

Summer break is officially over.  Done.

On Monday, the beasties head back to the old school house!

Although I'm not particularly relishing the great comeback of alarm clocks and homework, I do have to admit to a certain amount of joy at the thought of a brand new school year.

Now, said 'joy' isn't for myself.  Oh, no!! 

It's for 'Little Sister'.

She's a stone-cold, school-lovin', social-butterfly. 

She's ecstatic at the thought of headin' back to school!  New shoes.  Pencils, paper, folders---FRIENDS.

She's definitely my favorite awesome nerd :-) 

Sooo, here's a fun SMASH* page homage to GEEK-OCITY!!

How fun are splatts??  I've really been digging color splatts, lately.  These were created with my Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst spray in Wild Honeysuckle Coral and the Old Hairy dauber top.  Seriously, Old Hairy rocks my world!!

I'm also really lovin' the Spectacle stamp set from Sweet Stamp Shop!  The fab glasses and the sentiment came from that quirky little set :-)

And here's a little close-up of the Sushi Doll digi I've colored up.  Her name is 'Geeky' and you can find her, and tons of other seriously cute Sushi's HERE.  LOVE me some Sushi!!

Oz

Hellooooo :-)  It's been a bit, no?

The end of the school year tends to be super hectic.  And sort of bittersweet.  So many lovely things have happened this year!  So many new things seen and experienced.

There have been field trips, award ceremonies, birthday parties and so many weekends spent with family.

This year, we went to Oz.

Being the dutiful momma I am, I took pictures :-) 

And SMASH*ed it!!

Little Sister got her TIN on at a party and she absolutely fell in love with Glinda while in Oz.

Point And Click!

Hello :-) 

To get myself all psyched up for the upcoming ***photo-taking-bonanza*** that is December, I thought I'd SMASH* me up a little homage to the great point-and-click.

This is my mini SMASH* book.  It's my FAVE!! 

Inside this little book is a small collection of one photograph SMASH* pages I like to call 'One Shot Wonders'.  And the best part??  I find my inspiration for each pages' title from a song! 

For this page, I knew I had to color up Say Cheese Sophie from Sweet Nothings Stamp Co.  Not only is she adorable, she's sportin' some serious photog mojo!

Today, a brand new challenge starts over on the Saturated Canary Challenge Blog!!! This weeks theme is Red, White and Blue.

For my card, I've colored up Skateboarding. Isn't he the cutest?!??



I wanted a very urban feel, so I splattered and sprayed myself up a bit of red, white and blue graffiti paper :-) LOVE! So fun and definately theraputic.

I Cross My Heart...

Hiya, FRIENDS!!

I've finally cleared the glitter from my teeth and eyes long enough to blog a suuuuper smashy page of me and my absolute favorite guy :-)

2 - Slap on a few hearts. Doodle 'my heart' out ;-) Splash on some glitter!!



3 - Add a suuuuper smooshy song lyric with lots 'o meaning! This song is acutally the very first song we danced to as 'Old and Marrieds'.

Little Things.

Hello, HELLO!!

I got a little SMASH* time this weekend with my girls---love that! There's nothing better than an all day crop to blow the dust off.

Here's my page. And my Paige.



This one makes my happy :-) Such a cute little button nose!!

And I'm happy to tell you I finally got around to decorating the front of my mini SMASH* book. It all began with an accidental 'inking'...

I left the lid off my Staz-On for like two seconds---aaaaand, WHAM! My cover had this perfectly shaped stain on it.

I decided to just go with it :-) Check it out!!!

One long weekend away. Four days. Zero kiddos. No Hubby. Just me, my girls and my glue...

Can. Not. Wait!

Good Morning!!

I had a bit more time to play last night, and I just had to show my Joshy a little SMASH* Page love.

My boy has always been a full-on 80's kid, born in 1999.

Seriously.

The Goonies. Ghostbusters. Michael Jackson. Scooby-Doo. Tom and Jerry. NEON!!! The list goes on and on and ON!

All of this seems to be no problem for Dad, except for the neon. Tony hates Josh's 'neon thing'! Apparently, wearing bright colors is reserved for girls, haha!!

But, in true Josh style, he found a loophole.

SOCKS!! Super low, neon socks. If they are in his shoe, dad can't see them. And just knowing they're there...Knowing he's skirted the law...That's the cheeze :-)

What's New Pussycat???

I recently picked up the mini SMASH* book from Cassie over at Paper Issues, and I can't even tell you how much I love this little book!!! Love.

I've decided to entitle my book One Shot Wonders. One photo per page. A song lyric for the only journaling. Happy place.

Here's my first go...

I LOVE this picture of my girl all 'painted-n-pretty' at Disneyland :-)





The only problem she had with this paint job, was the cat beard. "I didn't want a beard, MOM!!!" Hee-hee!! Priceless.

ALWAYS be Batman...

...if given the chance. Just sayin'.

Have you seen this cute little picture floating around the internetz???



It kills me! Soooo cute. And it kinda looks like my hubby did as a tiny man.

It just so happens, that my hubby and all three of my kiddos have sported said costume at one point. LOVED each and every one!

Ant and Josh were both Batman one year for Halloween at 4 and 2. Ant only allowed Josh to copy 'cuz his own costume was way cooler with all those muscles ;-)

My hubby couldn't stand it! He had to wear the mask one night while sneaking into the kitchen for some cold pizza. He's now forever named The Pizza Bandit, lolz!!!

And Paige was Batgirl a few Halloweens ago. SOOOOO cute with her chubby little knees!

So, in honor of Batman and Batman-loving peeps in my home, I SMASH*ED it.
