An UNLUCKY Hop With Viva Las VegaStamps!

Hello!!
Feelin' UNLUCKY??  Well, hopefully a bit of hoppin' with the Viva Las VegaStamps! crew will change those stars back to LUCKY :-)

You should have come here via Susan's blog---but if you've happened upon me first, be sure to hop on over to the VLVS blog and start from the beginning for your chance to win a pound of rubbah.

YEP.

One lucky comment along the way will win a pound of stampy goodness from VLVS!  Ok, on with the show.

Here's what I've come up with...

Honestly, I've never been one to create something sinister, scary or spooktacular.  I'm more of a rainbows and glitter kinda gal!  So, when I was brainstorming a project, I knew I needed a bit of magic to make it happen.

I've started with a background inked up with Distress ink in Black Soot and Pumice Stone and water.  I then stamped with Versamark ink and added a bit of Perfect Pearls in Perfect Pearl.  You can's see the images from straight on, but a quick tip into the light, and the Moon Phases and Field Of Stars stamping magically appears.

A little generation stamping (stamping repeatedly without re-inking!) with the In The Pale Moonlight sentiment stamp adds a bit of a spooky, shadowy look.

But my favorite (other than the stitching!), is definitely the sparkle of the moon :-)

Finally, I embellished with a small length of May Arts silk ribbon that I've distressed and a Prima star.

And that, my friends, is that.  Hopefully I've inspired you, even if  I've failed to give you the gore and horror.  If you've missed anyone along the way, here's the full list of hoppers...
