Book Of Hearts.

Hiya, Folks!!

Today, I come baring my heart...

Well, actually it's a whole book of them :-)  This month, as I was contemplating goals for myself in 2014,  I landed on the word 'heart'.  This little word can mean so many things!!

Sooooo, in honor of this years 'one little word', I've decided to art journal myself up a book of hearts to help keep my focus.

Keep these ideals in the forefront of my mind.

Keep my eyes on the prize!!!

Here's what I came up with...

It all started with a canvas base.  And lace...

Here's a peek at how I've created all that LOVELY lacey texture!!

Sweet, right?!??

I LOVE the amazing pop of color!!
That stitching makes me crazy happy :-)
And glitter.  DUDE!

I gotta say I'm pretty happy with my book of hearts.  I plan to create a page a month with a different take on the word 'heart'.  Hopefully, it'll help keep me on track and inspired to keep-on-movin' and shakin' towards my goals this year!
Thanks so much for joining me today!!  I'll see ya next time :-)
OH!!  And I'm playing along with the January Challenge over at Berry71Bleu.  It's all about one word.  Hop on over and play along!
xx,

Roses And Rocks.

Hello!!  I thought it fitting, with all the fabulous January birthdays out there, that I bring you a little stamped jewelry/card combo---perfect for gifting on birthdays or any days!

I absolutely adore this amazing Rose image!  And with all those layers, the Cross Stitch stamp is the perfect way to ground them.  I'm SO in love with that little stamp!!

And finally, here's a little wearable piece of stamped goodness :-)

I've stamped it with the super versatile cloud stamp from Plate 910A.  How fun is that?  Perfect texture, and you'd never know it was a cloud!  Love.

This dreamy color palette came from the Lindy's Stamp Gang January Color Challenge, so hop on over and check it out!!

Together, I think this combo makes for one HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!  Thanks so much for joining me today, and I'll see ya next time!

Here's what I've created...
This little cutie is bundle full of notecards!!  Yep, inside is a set of 6 notecards and envelopes ready for gifting---'cuz who doesn't find themselves in need of a card now and then??

These FAB chippies from ID make it perfect for an every day gift, or even a Valentine for someone special...
...and that LSG sparkle takes it over-the-top!!
Here's a peek at how the notecards are stored inside.

Aaaaannnd, a peek at the notecards themselves!!  I've stamped with a lovely heart chippy from ID and glittered it up to make the image pop.  A bit of Lindy's color adds a sweet, painterly look.
 LOVE!!

Rags To Riches.

Hiya, Guys!!

Today, I have a little gem for ya :-)

A simple way to turn those bits of leftover ribbon, lace and trims into something gift-worthy.

Here's a rag bracelet and matching card I've created to do just that!

These scraps started their life in either a white or cream hue.  A perfect canvas for my favorite Lindy's Stamp Gang colors!

A few vintage pearls and buttons make the perfect embellies :-)

Now, it's a shabby chic dream.

Instead of throwing the extra bits back in my stash, I stitched them onto a card base and created a matching card.

I LOVE how they turned out!

Here’s a list of all the Lindy’s product I’ve used:

Aaaaannnnd, here's a peek at how I dyed my trims...

Ok, guys that’s it for me!!  Thanks so much for joining me today.

Now, go make something pretty!!
